PRAFULTA, Centre for Psychological Wellness, is an initiative of the Salesians of Don Bosco, an International Organization that works with children and youth. Prafulta began in September 1998 with a mission to promote emotional intelligence by offering a variety of psychological services like assessment, counselling, career guidance, psychiatric services, psycho-educational evaluation, remedial education, occupational therapy, support groups, numerous training programmes and workshops for children, youth, adults, parents, teachers, and professionals on various academic, developmental and emotional issues. Presently Prafulta has a team of over 30 professionals.
