Kuntal Vora (she/her) is a trauma informed and queer affirmative psychologist from Mumbai. She has pursued her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Mumbai University in 2013 and pursued her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from SNDT University in 2015. She holds a Postgraduate diploma in Counseling Psychology from Prafulta in 2018. She also holds Postgraduate Certificate in Attachment Theory from International Attachment Network (IAN). She is trained in Trauma Informed Care from The Alternative Story, Bangalore. She is also certified in Queer Affirmative Counseling Practice (QACP) from Mariwala Health Initiative (MHI). She is currently doing her South Asian Diploma in Narrative Practices from Narrative Practices India (NPI). In her 7 years of experience, she has worked with individuals with experiences pertaining to Interpersonal Relationship difficulties; Grief; Trauma; Abuse; Stress, Anxiety and Depression; Work-life Balance; Gender and Sexuality. She predominantly follows a humanistic approach to therapy. However, she believes that therapy cannot be the same for two individuals and depending on the sensibilities of the clients’, she tailors an evidence-based approach drawing from different schools of psychotherapy like Narrative Therapy and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. She always believed that therapy is (or can be) a space for ALL. She aims to foster narratives of therapy being open to all by embracing diversity and differences. She holds inclusivity and intersectionality as strong values in her therapeutic journey. Kuntal believes in building her skill set continuously which ultimately helps the client as well as herself.

She is fluent in English, Hindi and Gujarati.
