Jeevan 2023
We finished Jeevan' the 3 days ( 7th, 8th 15th of October) of training for mental health professionals in conducting group sessions on Life Skills with special focus on Community Outreach. In an experiential manner, we covered what are Life Skills given by WHO, what makes an effective workshop, topics to choose according to stages of development, understanding one’s own Life Skills, sharing of actual experiences of work being done in communities. The participants implemented their learnings and conducted small workshops today which enhanced and consolidated the insights. In the of the participant’s words - ' I understood there is a science behind creating a module for a workshop. We need have an image of what we need to leave the audience with and weave in our activities according to their age, social background'. Many of them also said they got an insight into their personal Life Skills which enables their inner journey as mental health profesisonals. To see more click the link below
